Chocolate Chip Cookies

My special CCC recipe. No need to under-cook to make it more chewy because they turn out a very soft and cake-like.

approx. 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (important! don't just melt it)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbs milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 package of chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 375F
  • Mix butter and sugars
  • Mix in egg, milk, and vanilla
  • Separately mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix into other mixture
  • Mix in chips and nuts
  • Spoon onto baking sheets. The trick is to use two spoons--one to scoop out of the bowl, the other to push the dough onto the sheet.
  • Eat remaining cookie dough :)
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes
