It's my first Thanksgiving away from home and I've decided to host Friendsgiving at my apartment. And I'm cooking the turkey. I went to fancy schmancy Union Market today and asked about pre-ordering a turkey but ended up having an overwhelming conversation with the bird guy and brought home a 15lb Kosher turkey. (I think he liked me because he sold it to me at the non-organic price.) I became really stressed out and wondered if it would even fit into my mini NY fridge and whether or not I really know what brining a turkey means.
And then I came across this video. =]
Hopefully the turkey turns out a-ok on Thursday. Keep you posted!
