Kimchi Soup


Real Koreans don't use recipes, they just ask their mom to make it :) jk

Here's what I can figure out for Kimchi Jjigae for 4ish servings. Proportions will be off, I'm totally guessing!
  • Cut up 4-6 oz beef chunks or pork belly and cook them in the pot with the garlic for a couple minutes
  • Stir in a few spoonfuls of chili paste
  • Pour in 3-4 cups (??) water
  • Add a handful kimchee
  • Wait until it boils, then tofu, peppers, and the mushroom thing...it's the long skinny white one that comes in the plastic package...or shitake mushrooms if you don't know what I'm talking about
  • Cook for 10-15 more minutes
