Captain Morgan Stir Fry

introduced to me by my bro. the alcohol from the rum burns off, but the sweet flavor soaks in and stays in the beef. almost like a caramel flavor.

serves 4

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. beef, cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • little bit of minced ginger if you feel like it
  • any veggies you'd like in any proportion. i like using:
    • 1 cup red bell peppers
    • 1 cup onions
    • 1 cup broccoli
  • splash of Captain Morgan spiced rum
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 cups cooked rice, preferably Korean :)
Directions:
  • Heat a skillet/wok. Add beef and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Put beef to one side of pan and add garlic and ginger (you might need to add a little bit of oil if the beef is too lean). Cook for just a few seconds.
  • Add onions, then broccoli, then bell peppers with one minute intervals. Cook until veggies are done.
  • Stand back and add the Cap'n. Cook for a few minutes until the alcohol burns off.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over rice.
